The Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts and Risk Manager. You need to be a CM expert and be a sound negotiator both internally and externally when it comes to driving effective contract execution across customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
Accountabilities
Prepare, review, and respond to contract terms and conditions for tenders and RFQs.
Redline and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors under the supervision of Senior Legal Counsel.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, legal, finance, and project management, to align and support contract execution.
Ensure accuracy of contract text, attachments, and maintain organized records and documentation.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in contract management practices.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract negotiations and management, preferably within the engineering or technology industry.
Professional certifications in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) are advantageous.
Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract redlining skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
