The Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts and Risk Manager. You need to be a CM expert and be a sound negotiator both internally and externally when it comes to driving effective contract execution across customers, suppliers and subcontractors. 

 
Accountabilities
 
  • Prepare, review, and respond to contract terms and conditions for tenders and RFQs.
  • Redline and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors under the supervision of Senior Legal Counsel.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, legal, finance, and project management, to align and support contract execution.
  • Ensure accuracy of contract text, attachments, and maintain organized records and documentation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in contract management practices.

    Key Requirements

     
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract negotiations and management, preferably within the engineering or technology industry.
  • Professional certifications in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract redlining skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
