The opportunity
If you’re a litigation lawyer looking for a new role where you’ll get to advise on an interesting and varied range of disputes, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
In this role, you'll work as a member of the Commercial Litigation & Disputes team of a large Queensland Government department and will advise on a broad range of matters. Everything from general commercial, construction, property and trade practices disputes through to matters involving defamation and false imprisonment.
Working closely with a team of lawyers at various levels, you also have lots of opportunity to learn from others and develop your expertise and knowledge across different areas of law.
In order to be suitable, you will have:
- a minimum of 5 years PQE in commercial litigation and disputes;
- experience in drafting pleadings and other court documentation and advising on complex matters; and
- excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
You'll ideally be able work full-time but part-time is also a possibility so get in touch to let us know your availability!
